WHO WE ARE

Sunshine Village delivers on our promise of a GREAT day – by helping people to live and learn, work and earn and give and grow! We are presently serving over 400 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and autism spectrum disorders with a variety of innovative day supports and employ over 200 employees. Programmatic sites – providing day habilitation, employment and community-based day services – are located at the agency’s main campus in Chicopee, as well as in Agawam and Three Rivers.

We have invested millions of dollars in our workforce – bringing our entry level wage for DSPs from $17.65 to $21.00! We continue to provide annual raises and multiple bonuses throughout the year. DSPs work a 35-hour workweek (M-F from 8:30 to 3:30) and we do not require night or weekend shifts or overtime hours. All employees receive generous paid time off (including 11 holidays and snow days!) and we pay 70% of health and dental insurance and match up to 4% in the 401K after one year. We also are investing more money than ever in professional AND personal development – and our employees feel they receive enough training to do their job well (92%.)
